The Richter Brand

Speaker manufacturers the world over have had to contend with the decorator's aversion to placing large black/brown boxes in the lounge or family room. It’s hard to argue with this position as the industry now asks consumers to accommodate five or more speakers and a subwoofer. Bose is an obvious success story in this regard and whilst Richter is developing some aluminium sub/sat systems we didn’t wish to pursue this as the primary goal, instead, we turned to the brand most associated with aesthetically appealing, high quality, contemporary cosmetics and looked to the Scandinavian brand Bang and Olufsen for inspiration. The elegant, slim-line presentation of the Richter PRECIOUS METAL range is the result.

Most of us have been exposed to the new minimalist trends in interior design, with significant use of steel, zinc, aluminium, polished cement, granite and other stone. Since 1986 Richter Acoustics have been proud manufacturers of traditional “wooden box” loudspeakers, the Precious Metal range is a response to the latest décor challenge and heralds the future of speaker design and presentation.

Industry peers have recognized Richter’s constant pursuit of excellence and the drive to exceed expectations. The company is therefore proud to announce that amongst five awards already received this year are:
